I was reading an article about utilizing Youtube in your social media strategy. However the article’s main point seemed to be that Youtube was reliable and could draw traffic to your other sites.
When do you need Youtube? Is it a necessary component to your social media strategy or is it something you should use as needed? Can you have just one video on your channel or do you need to dedicate a certain amount to look viable, such as once a week? Would you need a Youtube company if you are a brand image consulting company for example?
What do you think? We all know the importance of media such as photographs and videos, but does relevance ever outweigh “following the rules of the web”? Should you have a Youtube channel if you are a company that sells soap dishes?
